- Payment information: credit or debit card details, billing address, and bank account information for payouts (processed through our third-party payment processors)
- Listing information: property address, descriptions, photographs, amenities, pricing, availability, and house rules
- Booking information: dates of stay, number of guests, special requests, and event affiliation
- Identity verification: government-issued identification, proof of property ownership, and business documentation
- Communications: messages sent through the Platform, emails, customer support inquiries, and feedback
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you access or use the Platform, we automatically collect certain information, including:
- Device information: device type, operating system, browser type and version, unique device identifiers, and screen resolution
- Usage information: pages viewed, links clicked, search queries, listing interactions, time spent on pages, and referring URLs
- Location information: approximate location based on your IP address and, if you grant permission, precise location from your device
- Log data: IP address, access times, error logs, and server logs
1.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive information about you from third parties, including identity verification services, background check providers (with your consent), payment processors, analytics providers, and social media platforms if you choose to link your accounts.

- Conducting analytics and research to understand how the Platform is used
2.2 Safety & Security
- Verifying user identities and preventing fraud
- Detecting and preventing unauthorized access, misuse, or abuse of the Platform
- Enforcing our Terms of Service
- Conducting background checks where authorized and with your consent
2.3 Communications & Marketing
- Sending transactional emails related to your account, bookings, and inquiries
- Sending promotional communications about new listings, upcoming events, and Platform features (you may opt out at any time)

3.1 Between Hosts & Guests
When a booking is confirmed, we share necessary information between the Host and Guest to facilitate the stay. This may include names, contact information, check-in details, and booking-specific communications. Hosts and Guests agree to use shared information solely for purposes related to the booking.
3.2 Service Providers
We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including:
- Payment processors (for transactions and payouts)
- Cloud hosting and data storage providers
- Email and communication services
- Analytics and performance monitoring tools
- Identity verification and background check services
- Customer support tools
These service providers are contractually obligated to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us and to protect your information in accordance with applicable law.
3.3 Legal & Compliance
We may disclose your information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to:
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or government requests
- Enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of Marquee Stays, our users, or the public

- Booking records: retained for 7 years after the stay to comply with tax and legal requirements
- Payment records: retained for 7 years to comply with financial regulations

- The right to opt out of the sale of personal data (note: we do not sell personal data)

7.3 California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including:

- The right to know the categories of sources from which your personal information is collected

Marquee Stays is based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored on servers located in the United States. If you are accessing the Platform from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your country of residence.
By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure that your personal information remains protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy, regardless of where it is processed.
9. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. 10. Third-Party Links & Services
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, or applications that are not operated by Marquee Stays. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through or in connection with the Platform. This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected by Marquee Stays through the Platform.
11. Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that sends a signal to websites requesting that your browsing activity not be tracked. At this time, the Platform does not respond to DNT signals. However, you can manage your tracking preferences through your browser's cookie settings and through the opt-out mechanisms described in this Privacy Policy.
